C= A CSI NY Story - It's too complicated [One]

Leaning against the alley wall was a black haired girl not more than 21. Blood was flowing out from her side as stupid bastard stab-and-run her when she came out of the back door to throw her rubbish.

Beside her was her phone as she was calling her colleague. Flashbacks of what happened few minutes ago flashed in her head.

-Flashback-
The green eyed girl carried her rubbish down the stairs: her phone was trapped between her head and her right shoulder.

“Morning Jay,” a voice said through the phone. “What are you doing? I heard ruffling sounds”

“I’m taking the rubbish out,” Jay replied. “Tidying the place up since I got a day off.”

“Won’t you ever rest?” Don groaned. “You’ll still be working if I didn’t ask Mac for it.”

“I have nothing to do. There’s nothing to see and read,” Jay said, putting down the plastic bag as she opened the back door. “Who are you with?”

“The team,” Don asked. “Promise me you’ll rest after this.”

“Alright…” She surrendered. “I’ll rest after --- argh! Damn you!” Jay dropped the plastic bag as she was stabbed by a knife on her side by a black man who is now running out the alley.

“Jay? Jay! What happened? Jay, talk to me!” Don yelled through the phone.

“Don--- stabbed---,”Jay said hoarsely as she pulled the knife out then leans on to the wall.

“Stay where you are! Keep talking to me Jay,” Don commanded. Jay heard Don spoke to the others then starts his car and puts on his siren, heading towards Jay’s apartment with some of the others behind him.

-End of Flashback-

“Jay, keep talking to me,” Don requested through the phone.

Jay could only groan as she tries to stop the blood, the gash was getting bigger, her phone was two feet away from her and she was already started to see white spots.

Few seconds later, Jay heard siren go off and rushing footsteps came from her left. She felt hands grab her and her head landed on someone’s chest.

“Jay?” Don asked worriedly. “She’s losing a lot of blood! Danny, call 911! Stella, help me stop the blood.”

Jay felt another pair of hands joining Don’s on her side. “Flack, the ambulance’s on its way,” Danny called out.

“Stay with us Jay,” Don pleaded. The last thing she heard was the ambulance’s siren before she blacked out.
